Kurnool: Mobile phones worth Rs 1.30 crore were stolen by two drivers from a container truck in Obulapuram Mitta on the Dhone national highway in Kurnool district. The incident happened on September 11 but came to light recently. The container truck was transporting cell phones from Haryana to Bengaluru.
The drivers parked the truck on the side of the road, transferred the cell phones to another vehicle, and abandoned the container. The theft became known after the container owner from Nagaland reported the incident to the Dhone police station. Dhone police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. A special team has been sent to Haryana to apprehend the suspects.
