Medico kidnap case: Cops book another case against Mr Tea owner, brother and cousin

Hyderabad: The Adibatla police booked another case against kidnap accused K. Naveen Reddy and his brother and a cousin on Friday, following a complaint from the victim, Dr M. Vaishali Reddy of Adibatla, who claimed that the video shared by the trio contained false statements which had caused her mental agony.

Police apprehended Reddy’s brother Nandeep Reddy and cousin Vamshi Bharath Reddy for sharing defamatory videos on his behalf and cautioned news channels and YouTube accounts against telecasting them.

Police seized the gadgets used to spread the videos from the head office of Mr. Tea, owned by Naveen Reddy, at Hasthinapuram.

Naveen Reddy had kidnapped the denstist after raiding her home and assaulting her family members.

Dr Vaishali alleged that Naveen Reddy made selfie videos making false statements against her, which tarnished her image in society.
