Three techies die by suicide in 3 separate incidents in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Three techies died by suicide in separate incidents in the city, according to the police on Tuesday.
Vishnu Vardhan, 43, who hailed from Guntur, allegedly died by suicide at his residence in My Home Bhooja. He used to work in the software sector in Australia and had shifted to Hyderabad four months ago, said Raidurgam inspector M. Mahesh. Vishnu Vardhan used to stay alone in his flat. No suicide note was found.
He did not respond to his friend’s call for long. The friend then went to his flat. Getting no response, they broke the door and found Vishnu Vardhan’s body.
In Asifnagar, 26-year-old software engineer N. Venkata Sai died by suicide at his rented apartment in Century Apartments. He was alone at home. Asifnagar police said his sister N. Ramya, a BTech first year student who used to stay with him, had left for her native place in Nalgonda district for the Dasara festival.
Ramya, after reaching home, tried to contact her brother but he did not respond. She called his friends, who borke open the door of Venkata Sai’s aparatment and found the body.
In Gowlidoddi, software engineer I. Gandam, 26, died by suicide at his hostel after his friends had gone to sleep, Gachibowli police said. Police was called to the scene by the hostel management. They intimated his parents in Krishna district. Police could not find a suicide note but suspect that it could be the outcome of a failed love affair.
