Hyderabad: A 58-year-old woman identified as Bojjamma working as a watchman in a closed school at Meerpet of Rachakonda commissionerate in the city, was found murdered in the watchman’s room in the school campus on Thursday afternoon. Her husband Ligamaiah has been missing for the past 10 days and locals have seen another unidentified man residing with her from two days.
According to police, the Indo American School located in Lenin Nagar has been closed for two years but Bojjamma and her husband Lingamaiah were residing in the watchman’s room in the school premises.
On Thursday afternoon locals noticed smoke from the watchman’s room and alerted police.
When police entered the room, they found Bojjamma in a pool of blood and her legs were burning, due to which there was smoke. It was later found that Bojjamma is dead. Meerpet police registered a murder case and started an investigation.
