Hyderabad: An argument over repayment of Rs 900 led to a murder at Chandrayangutta late Wednesday night. The accused Raju had lent Rs 900 to Shiva. When Raju asked Shiva to return the money, the two had a heated argument and assaults in which Shiva was killed, police said.
On Wednesday around 11.30 pm, locals saw them quarrel near Peeli Dargah and alerted the police. When police rushed to the spot, they saw Shiva lying in a pool of blood. Meanwhile, staff of a 108 ambulance rushed to the spot and found Shiva dead.
On inquiry, police identified the victim, who along with his wife Sujatha made a living by begging. Ravi is also a beggar.
Chandrayangutta police registered a murder case and launched a hunt to nab Ravi, who is absconding.
