Indore: A 28-year-old woman has alleged that her husband and in-laws harassed her for dowry and he got one of his cousins to rape her and filmed the act, police said on Friday.
According to her complaint, the woman's husband Vikrant and in-laws were torturing her for Rs two lakh to buy a car.
After she failed to get the amount, they began to torture her physically and mentally, they said.
She also alleged that her husband once sent his cousin Manjeet to her room and got her raped and the act was recorded on a camera, the complaint stated.
The victim, a resident of Vinoba Nagar, was also allegedly threatened of dire consequence if she spoke about it.
A case was registered against Vikrant, Manjeet and their three other relatives under sections 376 (rape) and 498(A) (dowry) and 506 (threatening) of IPC on the complaint of the woman, a sub-inspector of Palasia police station said.
The allegations are being probed into and nobody has been arrested so far, police added.
