Two Bangladeshi nationals held with fake Indian passports
Hyderabad: The RGI Airport police on Tuesday arrested two Bangladeshi nationals identified as Maitri Baruva and Ankon Baruva and seized fake Indian passports from them, while they were attempting to fly abroad using the fake passports.
Inquiries revealed that the duo had crossed over the border a few months ago. Later they obtained Indian passports fraudulently through fabricated identity proofs. They have also obtained a visa to travel to Thailand.
As per the plan, they booked their flight tickets from Hyderabad. On Tuesday when they were at the RGI Airport, Immigration officials caught them with a fake passport and handed them to the police, following which a case was registered against them and they were sent to judicial remand.
