Hyderabad: A chain-snatcher was apprehended by Chandanagar Police. Ramesh, 21, a labourer residing near Yellamma Temple in Sangareddy, allegedly stole a 30-gram gold chain from a woman Patlothu Lokamma on September 13 at Lingampally Rythu Bazaar.
Acting on her complaint, police registered a case and caught him on Tuesday near Patancheru. During interrogation, he confessed to having committed another offence at Lingampally Railway Station. Cops recovered stolen gold items from him leading to his judicial custody.
