WARANGAL: A four-member gang of rowdy sheeters created panic by opening fire and attacking another rowdy sheeter in the late hours of Wednesday in Manakondur mandal town in Karimnagar district.
According to the police, the four-member gang from Godavarikhani suddenly entered the house of another gangster Bashaboina Arun Yadav at night and attacked him with sticks.
Arun escaped from his house and hid at his neighbour Rolla Mallaiah’s house. But the gang ran into Mallaiah’s house, damaging the furniture and other belongings and thrashed him black and blue. Arun escaped from the house of Mallaiah, but one rowdy sheeter who chased him opened fire at him, but the bullets missed the target, as per the police version.
Meanwhile, the locals alerted the police. “The gang escaped from the scene before we reached there. We shifted the injured Arun to the government main hospital at district headquarter in Karimnagar,” police said.
