Hyderabad: An assistant commercial tax officer Adabala Satyanarayana Murthy, working at the Sanathnagar division, was caught red-handed by the Anti Corruption Bureau while accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000.
Based on specific information a trap was laid by the sleuths, the accused was caught at Punjagutta division office taking money from complainant Sanjay Raghu Ram.
The officer demanded money from the complainant, a promoter of Zoomy Foods Private limited Begumpet for issuing a favourable audit report on accounts of the complainant’s firm. Murthy was arrested and produced before the special court of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
