Police recovered 17 stolen vehicles worth Rs 8.50 lakh from the gang

Hyderabad: Petbasheerabad police on Wednesday arrested three members of a gang involved in stealing bikes and recovered 17 stolen vehicles worth around Rs 8.50 lakh from them. The gang was traced with the help of clues from CCTV footage.
They stole bikes from areas under Petbasheerabad, Jeedimetla, Alwal, and Medchal police station limits and Jinnaram and Shankarampet PS limits in Sangareddy district, according to DCP Medchal P. Shabarish. With a series of theft cases being reported, special teams were deputed to nab the suspects.
The accused sold the bikes in their native village in Medak district. The arrested included Manne Mahesh, Shaik Ameer, and Thogari Raju, all childhood friends.
