Hyderabad: Two minors abducted, 1 raped
Hyderabad: Alert local residents helped police arrest two persons who kidnapped two girls of 11 years and eight years old to an old building at Saidabad and raped the elder child on Saturday evening.
Saidabad inspector K.V.L. Narasimha Rao said, “They lured the girls on the pretext of showing them a movie and kidnapped them on Saturday at about 6 pm. They took them to the Shiva-Ganga theatre in Saidabad. Later, the duo took the girls into an old building opposite the theatre. There, Mothilal and Dasru raped the 11-year-old girl.”
Dasru later left the old building premises with the eight-year-old-girl, police said. When Mothilal and the 11-year-old girl were coming out from the building, security guards at the theatre and some members of the audience noticed that the girl was crying. They stopped and questioned Mothilal, but he did not respond. The girl then narrated her ordeal. People thrashed Mothilal and handed him over to police.
Mothilal then confessed that Dasru was waiting behind the building with the eight-year-old girl. Police rushed there, nabbed the man and took custody of the girl. She was unharmed and the police handed her over to her parents.
The people caught one of the men coming out of the building along with the girl who was crying and handed him over to the police. This led to the arrest of the other rapist.
The girl was allegedly raped by both men. Saidabad police arrested both men and sent them to judicial remand on Sunday.
According to Saidabad police, Dasru, 25, and Mothilala, 28, abducted two girls aged 11 years and 8 years, who were playing in front of their relatives’ house in Singareni Colony under Saidabad police station limits on Saturday.
