Hyderabad: A seven-year-old boy identified as V. Raghavendar died after falling in a pit dug for installing a lift at an under-construction building at Hayathnagar of Rachakonda commissionerate on the city outskirts. The boy along with his two brothers went to tuition on Monday evening. While returning home, his brothers came home and Raghavendar went to his relatives working in the construction site for playing.
When he did not return home till late night, his parents started searching for him and later found him drowned in the pit filled with water. Police said the boy could have accidentally fallen in the lift pit that was filled with water and drowned. Hayathnagar police registered a case and started an investigation.
