HYDERABAD: The Bhuvanigiri court on Thursday sentenced a man to undergo life imprisonment for murdering his wife. Apart from the conviction, the court also imposed a fine of ₹1,000 on him and remanded him to judicial custody.
The accused Naini Yadagiri, around 2 pm on January 17 on being refused money for buying by his wife, attacked her with a stick at his house in Pochammawada village under Bhuvanagiri police station limits. Due to heavy bleeding from the head, she died on the spot. Later Yadagari doused her body with kerosene and set her ablaze.
Rachakonda police commissioner D.S. Chauhan appreciated the efforts made by the police in the accused’s conviction.
