Vishakapatnam: Two Maoists were killed in an encounter with the Greyhounds near Annavaram of Koyyuru mandal in Vizag Agency on Friday.
This is another major setback for Maoists in Vizag and Andhra-Odisha border (AOB). Thirty Maoists, including top leaders, were gunned down in the Ramguda encounter in Malkangiri district of Odisha on October 24. The slain Maoists were identified as Gemmeli Narayan Rao alias Jambri and Chittibabu. Jambri was the divisional committee member of Galikonda area.
