Anantapur police unravel the truth behind the claimed theft, arresting the mastermind and accomplices in the staged incident.
HYDERABAD: The Pocharam and Ghatkesar police arrested three persons for 60 alleged thefts and recovered 20 tola gold ornaments and 35 tola silver ornaments at their instance, as well as four mobile phones and a bike used in their operations.
Malkajgiri DCP D. Janaki said the police arrested the accused Bonta Shekar, Naresh and Turpati Prasad while they were about to commit a burglary.
Naresh's brother Mohan, also wanted for burglar, is at large. The gang was involved in house break-ins in Cyberabad, Rachakonda and Kamareddy districts, police said.
