Hyderabad: Ayurvedic Doctor Booked for Cheating Patient in LB Nagar
Hyderabad: LB Nagar police of Rachakonda commissionerate booked a ayurvedic medical practitioner Dr Gnaneshwar for allegedly duping a youngster to the tune of Rs 50,000. Instead of treating the youngster, 32, with medication, Gnaneshwar gave him lemon and ash and told him to visit him on the Amavasya (new moon). He also gave the complainant a list of groceries to get while coming, the police said, quoting the complainant, who works for a private firm.
SHO LB nagar B Anji Reddy said a case has been registered against Gnaneshwar and investigation is underway. They have also conducted searches at his clinic at LB nagar.
The complainant, a resident of Vanasthalipuram approached Gnaneshwar for treatment for headache and neuro related issues and he was given lemon, ashes and also asked to visit during Amavasya.
Fearing that Gnaneshwar might perform some puja that might create more harm, he complained to the police, following which police registered a case.
