Hyderabad: Tension prevailed outside the director-producer Ram Gopal Varma’s office in Jubilee Hills after a group of protesters shouted slogans against him, ahead of the release of his film ‘Vyooham,’ which is said to portray TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu poorly.
About two dozen protestors burnt his effigy and demanded an apology. Jubilee Hills police went to the scene and dispersed the gathering. They fell silent on spotting the police vehicle said Jubilee Hills inspector P. Ravindra Prasad.
Reacting to the incident, the film maker lashed out at Naidu and TD general secretary Nara Lokesh and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. “Here are your DOGS BARKING outside my office and they RAN OFF when the COPS came,” Ram Gopal Varma tweeted on X.
