Hyderabad: Following up on the arrest of a DJ and another person and seizure of 34 Ecstasy tablets from them at a rave party in SR Nagar on December 20, the TS Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TS-NAB) on Monday arrested 25 others, including the main drug supplier Hanuman Babuso Diwakar alias Baba.
Efforts are on to arrest another drug supplier from Bengaluru,” said Sandeep Shandilya, TS NAB director. He said three of the arrested had tested positive for Ecstacy.
“Our teams had put the duo under surveillance and nabbed Baba, Shandilya said. The DJ was identified as Swadeep, working in a pub in Filmnagar, and had 14 grams of cocaine, a few days back. The money trail of Rs 1.4 lakh was been confirmed.
Stating that the police were on track to arrest more suspects, Shandilya “Some of the main drug suppliers of cocaine, MDMA and ecstasy drugs are from Bengaluru.”
