Hyderabad: The body Kontham Tejaswini Reddy, who was murdered in London’s Wembly on June 15, arrived at the Shamshabad airport on Sunday and was handed over to her family members.
Her father K. Srinivas Reddy along with family members after completing the formalities at the airport performed the last rites at a crematorium in Brahmanpally, Hayathnagar, police said.
Tejaswini Reddy was stabbed to death by a Brazilian friend. The UK Metropolitan arrested accused Keven Antonio Lourenco de Morais two others including a woman.
Another woman who was stabbed along with Tejaswini Reddy survived the attack.
Tejaswini Reddy had graduated from the University of Greenwich and had moved to the flat in Wembley a couple of weeks before she was murdered.
