HYDERABAD: Cyberabad special operation team (SOT) police arrested Dildar Ali Jassan and Sonu Kumar in Uppal for adulterating ginger garlic paste and selling it.
Police seized 4 tonnes of adulterated paste.
Police said they were using synthetic food colours, gum powder for thickness and Titali-M powder for softness to make the paste, in unhygienic conditions.
Their food licence and trade permit had expired and they did not have a labour licence.
