Kakinada: The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) court on Monday imposed a life term and 34 years’ jail and a fine of Rs 3,500 to accused Tadi Prabhu alias Donga Chinna for the kidnap and rape of a six-year-old girl.
According to One Town police, Donga Chinna (24) entered a house and kidnapped the six- year-old girl, who was sleeping in the house. He raped the girl and left her in the bushes at Gollelapeta area on Nov 24, 2020.
The parents and relatives searched for the girl and found her in the bushes. They admitted her to the GGH for treatment.
The punishment was pronounced by judge Venkateswara Rao.
