Bhopal: At least four people were on Wednesday charred to death and nine others injured when a bus in which they were travelling caught fire after being hit by a dumper in Guna district in Madhya Pradesh, police said.
The death toll may go up, police said.
The mishap took place in Bajranggarh area.
According to the police, the bus was travelling from Guna to Aron when the incident took place.
Guna district superintendent of police Vijay Khetri said that four people died in the incident.
Police said that efforts were being made to retrieve the bodies of the deceased passengers from the bus.
The injured were admitted to the nearby government hospital.
