Hyderabad: A young woman died on the spot after being hit by an RTC bus near Yousufguda at about 9 am on Tuesday. Locals alleged the accident occurred due to the negligence of the bus driver.
The victim was identified as L. Sai Deepika Reddy.
She was heading towards Yousufguda from Punjagutta on her two-wheeler at the time of the accident. The RTC bus hit her two-wheeler near Andhra Bank and she died on the spot.
Police said Deepika was working as a sales executive in Jubilee Hills. After being informed, the police reached the spot and sent the body to Gandhi Hospital for the post-mortem examination. A case has been registered against the bus driver.
