Four Sudanese women held with RS 1.94 crore worth gold in rectum at RGIA

HYDERABAD: Gold in paste form weighing over three kg, worth Rs 1.94 crore was seized from four Sudanese women on their arrival at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in the early hours of Tuesday. The women, travelling from Dubai, had concealed gold in paste form in their rectum, said customs officials.

They said that based on passenger profiling, they intercepted the suspects, who admitted to having concealed gold paste in capsule form. Further investigation is in progress.
