Narsingi theft detected in 24 hours, stolen property recovered intac

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police detected a theft at Narsingi within 24 hours and recovered the stolen property. DCP Rajendranagar R. Jagadish Reddy said the accused identified as Chapala Anjappa and Sohail Ali were arrested using clues from CCTV footage and other technical evidence.

Sohail was involved in 10 thefts and had been detained under the PD Act. Anjappa was involved in six offences in the past. Police recovered intact, the loot comprising 30 tulas of gold ornaments and 2 kg of silver, stolen from the house of B. Laxman Rao, a businessman.
