KAKINADA: East Godavari collector K. Madhavilatha announced that in the past four months, 10 antisocial elements have been booked under the Preventive Detention Act in the district.
While five of them are rowdy-sheeters, the remaining five are those who are habitual manufacturers or sellers of illicit liquor.
The collector warned that stringent action will be taken against anti-social elements who disturb peace and cause law and order problems. She requested people to inform authorities in case they find any person selling liquor illicitly. Identity of such persons will be kept a secret, she assured.
