Hyderabad: Bachupally police of Cyberabad commissionerate busted an online gaming racket being operated from a gated community apartment and arrested six persons, including the organiser M Anvesh Kumar, a private financier. Cash of ₹29.11 lakh and devices used for gaming were seized from their possession, said DCP Balanagar T. Srinivasa Rao.
Based on a tip-off, Balanagar zone SOT raided Mayura Fortune Green House apartment and caught Anvesh Kumar and his associates red-handed.
Police found that the accused were accepting bets online and used mobile devices to cheat the gamblers.
