Cyberabad police to probe fake certificates racket
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Friday stated that an investigation will be launched to track down the job seekers who purchased fake certificates from an 11-member interstate gang based in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
“We are on the lookout for the 100 job seekers who purchased the fake certificates. They could have landed in corporate jobs with MNCs or left the country. We will be launching a probe to trace them,” the police officials said. Earlier, the Rachakonda police, who arrested a man employed with a reputed software firm in Gachibowli for joining with fake educational certificates, said that there are three more such offenders absconding and efforts are on to trace and nab them.
The Commissioner of Rachakonda Police, Mahesh Bhagwat, has also warned the recruiters of such firms to thoroughly verify documents during their hiring process.
M. Mallikarjuna Gandhi, an employee of Accenture India Pvt Ltd, Gachibowli was arrested for getting a job by submitting fake certificates he procured from Palagoni Srinivas, director of Sri Vaibhav Academy.
