Three bike thieves arrested, 6 bikes worth Rs 3.5 lakh recovered in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: South zone task force and Malakpet police on Saturday arrested three persons — Mohd Hyder alias Sonu 24, of Azampura, Syed Arbaz Mehdi Baquri, 23, a food delivery agent from Yakutpura, and Mohd Abdul Samad, 36, of Kanchanbagh — and recovered six stolen bikes worth ₹3.5 lakh from their possession.

Police said Hyder and Arbaz worked together at a water supply unit at Matha ki Khidki, Yakutpura and took to stealing bikes parked outside houses. They sold the vehicles to Samad, said task force additional commissioner A.V.R. Narasimha Rao.
