Anantapur police unravel the truth behind the claimed theft, arresting the mastermind and accomplices in the staged incident.
Hyderabad: The sleuths of Pahadishareef police crime team arrested four habitual automobile offenders and recovered 10 stolen bikes worth Rs 4 lakh from their possession.
The accused were moving suspiciously in Teegalakunta area, police said on Wednesday. Based on CCTV footage, Mohammed Abdul Zahoor Khan, 36, and Mohammed Parvez Ahmed, 25, were detained by the police.
Based on their information, Mohammed Hussain alias Aashu, 22, and Syed Wajid Ali alias Sohel were also taken into custody. “The accused would conduct recce during the day and steal the bikes in the early hours,” Rachakonda police commissioner D.S. Chauhan said.
