Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a nine-year-old boy from Joynagar in Agartala, Tripura was allegedly strangled by his mother as she couldn’t handle his disobedient behavior.
When the police arrived at the crime scene, the mother was seen sitting near her son’s body. She has been charged with the crime and arrested.
Bal, a daily worker at a construction site, said that her husband is missing and her daughter is married due to which she was raising her son alone. She also admitted that she was distraught by her son, Rajdeep’s constant misbehavior, skipping school, and stealing money.
"I couldn't go to work or live in peace because of his actions. I killed him and am ready to go to jail for it," she confessed.
A bamboo stick and a piece of rope that the police believe was used in the murder have been found in her home.
