Gov., CM hail Isro on successful launch of XPoSAT mission

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated the Isro scientists for the successful launch of the PSLV-C58 rocket on Monday. In a message, the Chief Minister said it was a moment to cherish as the satellite was placed into the intended orbit ringing in the New Year. He wished Isro all success in its future endeavours.

Earlier in the day, the PSLV-C58 rocket lifted off from Sriharikota and successfully placed the advanced astronomy observatory ‘XPoSAT’ satellite in orbit. The XPoSAT satellite is aimed at studying black holes and neutron stars. With this launch, India became only the second country after the US to have an observatory satellite to study black holes.

Governor of Andhra Pradesh S. Abdul Nazeer congratulated Isro scientists for the successful launch of the PSLV-C58 rocket and placed in orbit, the advanced astronomy observatory XPoSAT Satellite from Sriharikota, on New Year.

The Governor said that Isro had kept the nation’s flag flying high with the successful launch of the XPoSAT mission as India became only the second country after the US to have an observatory satellite to study black holes. He added that the successful launch of the XPoSAT mission had added another feather to the cap of Isro and wished the organisation to scale greater heights in the future.
