Survey puts TRS ahead, gives 16 seats
Hyderabad: An internal survey conducted by the Telangana Rashtra Samiti to gauge the pulse of the voters in the Lok Sabha elections indicates a high likelihood of the party winning 16 out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats and also the victory of its friendly party MIM.
Sources close to the TRS disclosed that samples were collected at random from six-seven Mandals/divisions in each AC and from seven-nine villages/colonies in each Mandal/division to reach a conclusion on the voters’ preferred political parties and candidates.
Sources revealed that of the 80,678 female samples in the survey, 62.29 per cent preferred the TRS while 26.27 per cent favoured the INC, and out of the 1,07,938 male samples, 53.84 percent preferred the TRS while 29.29 per cent preferred the Congress.
The survey indicates that the seven sitting TRS MPs of Adilabad, Bhongir, Karimnagar, Medak, Nizamabad, Warangal, and Zaheerabad PCs are preferred again.
