Hyderabad: A local court dismissed the bail petition filed by accused No 3 Renuka Dakhya, a gurukul teacher, in the TSPSC question paper leak case. She was arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
In her bail petition, she said that she did not indulge in leaking the question papers and that the police had levelled false allegations against her. Renuka said she was not well and that she wanted to take care of her children.
SIT counsel opposed the plea and said she would influence the witnesses and trample on evidence if the court granted bail.
Meanwhile, the SIT filed a petition seeking police custody of the recently arrested accused — Prashant Reddy, Rajender and Tirupatiah — for questioning in connection with the question paper leak. The court posted the arguments to Monday.
