Court introduces e-filing for paperless proceedings
HYDERABAD: In order to achieve the objective of a paperless court, the Telangana High Court will be commencing e-filing services for the filing of cases and petitions. On a pilot basis, this project will be available for the filing of cases and petitions by government pleaders and standing counsel in all types of matters and also for filing of income-tax cases by advocates, standing counsel and parties-in-person from October 3 to December 31.
The High Court Registry issued some instructions to follow for e-filing. New Advocates being registered in the High Court and the advocates who are filing the cases were requested to submit the Telangana Bar Council enrollment number, gender, date of birth, mobile phone number, and e-mail id, in the High Court for the State of Telangana Case Information System (CIS) software.
Since the e-filing is restricted to some of the cases on an experimental basis, the scanning of the cases in this regard is to be done free.
