Lawyers on Naidu's speech near prison after interim bail
KAKINADA: Advocates have given different opinions on the speech of former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu after his release from the Central Prison in Rajamahendravaram on Tuesday.
A Kakinada advocate V. Jagannadha Swamy told Deccan Chronicle that as per the condition laid down by the court, Chandrababu Naidu should not address meets or media. However, the way the former CM spoke after coming out of jail is surely a violation of the court conditions.
However, AP Bar Council member Muppalla Subba Rao clarified that the court has restrained Chandrababu Naidu from speaking about the skill development scam case.
“During his speech at Central Jail, the TD chief made no mention of the case,” he underlined.
