Andhra Pradesh CM stresses on living in peace
GUNTUR: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu asserted the need for living in happiness and peace.
He was speaking at a public meeting after laying the foundation stone for Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya's "Universal Peace Retreat Centre" (UPRC) at Nekkallu of Amaravati on Thursday.
Spiritual head of Brahma Kumaris Dadi Janki was also present. Mr Naidu said that UPRC will get global recognition to Amaravati and AP. Hard work will always bear sweet fruit, he said and urged the people to strive to lead a better life. He asserted the need for spirituality in people's life as it would usher in peace and happiness, essential for complete living.
Mr Naidu praised the services of Brahma Kumaris, spread in 147 countries. Recalling allocation of 34 acres in Hyderabad to Brahma Kumaris for Santhi Sarovaram, Mr Naidu said the place and its surroundings are always peaceful.
AP Legislative Assembly Speaker K. Sivaprasada Rao was also present.
