Nellore: Mystery shrouds the deaths of a young couple found on the railway track behind FCI godowns near Venkatachalam, 16 km from Nellore city, on Friday. The pair has been identified as G. Venkateswarlu 21, of Gotlapalem and D. Kamakshi, 17, of Kasumuru in Venkatachalam.
Venkateswarlu had married the daughter of his aunt. The deceased Kamakshi is the daughter of another aunt of Venkateswarlu. He and Kamakshi went missing on Thursday night and their death came to light when relatives went to lod-ge a missing compla-int on Friday. Police believe that the victims were in love and they might have committed suicide as no one would approve of their affair.
The bodies have been shifted to the government general hospital in Nellore for postmortem. Government Railway Police have registered a case and are investigating.
