CM Jagan promises to resolve issues of sulking Balineni
VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy called sulking former minister and YSR Congress MLA Balineni Srinivas to the CM’s Camp office at Tadepalli on Thursday for discussions to pacify him. This, after he sent in his resignation from the party’s regional coordinator post.
After meeting CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, Srinivas said he explained to the CM all things including group politics in the party. “He promised me to resolve those issues. There were some issues regarding the housing programme as also constituency issues and I brought them to the notice of Jagan Mohan Reddy,” he said.
He said two YSRC leaders were working against him and he hoped the CM would set things right. Srinivas dismissed the rumours he was leaving the YSRC and joining some other political party. “I will continue in the YSRC,” he affirmed.
Srinivas,, a close relative of the Chief Minister, was angry with the party high-command over his removal from the state cabinet and he recently resigned the YSRC regional coordinator post after complaining he faced harassment in the party.
He made it clear that he was ready to make any sacrifice for the YSRC and that, as a responsible individual in the party, he would not talk about any issue to anyone.
