Khammam: The gigantic digital screen behind the dais attracted the crowd who took selfies and photographs there during the Telangana Jana Garjana Sabha here on Sunday.
It is said that for the first time, such a massive screen has been set up at a public meeting in the state.
People, especially the youths, were seen taking selfies and photographs at the digital screen spot before the public meeting began. Photographs of Congress leaders including Indira Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, A. Revanth Reddy, Mallikarjun Kharge, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy were on display. Scenes from the Bharath Jodo Yatra were also displayed on the huge screen.
There was a side and a front screen where the Jana Garjana Sabha was shown. Big cut-outs of top leaders were erected at the meeting grounds and cranes were used to support the digital screens.
The front portion of the dais was extended so that top leaders can come forward to wave the crowd.
Supporters of former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that many people here had never seen such a huge digital screen at any public meeting.
