Warangal: Recent floods completely devastated a paper plate manufacturing unit in Warangal. The unit, Gayatri Paper Plate Industry is located near Vishal Mega Mart in Shyampet, Hanamkonda. The enormity of the damage has left the owner in distress forcing him to seek urgent assistance from the state government.
The calamitous flood, triggered by heavy rainfall and overflowing rivers, has wreaked havoc on several businesses in the region, with the paper plate unit being one of the worst affected.
The owner, Mr. Arun is now grappling with the loss of machinery, raw materials, and stocks. It seems that in a moment of desperation, Mr. Arun has appealed to the Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Mr. K. T. Rama Rao, popularly known as KTR, to provide urgent assistance to revive his business.
Mr. Arun shared pictures of the devastated manufacturing unit and destroyed stocks tagging KTR on Twitter along with his tweet for urgent help.
