Liquor shops in tri-commissionerates to be closed for vote counting on Sunday
Hyderabad: The police imposed prohibitory orders and banned the sale of liquor ahead of Sunday’s counting of votes for the Assembly elections. These restrictions will be in force from 6 am on Sunday to 6 am on Monday. Police commissioners Sandeep Sandilya (Hyderabad), Stephen Raveendra (Cyberabad) and D.S. Chauhan (Cyberabad) ordered liquor shops closed in their respective commissionerates. The prohibitory orders included a ban on five people and more gathering at a place, and against setting off firecrackers in the streets.
