Naidu Prays to Durga at Indrakeeladri

The former CM urged people of AP to save dharma, so that it saves everyone

VIJAYAWADA: Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu offered prayers to Goddess Kanaka Durga atop the Indrakeeladri hill in Vijayawada on Friday.

Interacting with media later, Naidu disclosed that he prayed asking the Goddess to save the righteous, punish wrongdoers, and bless Andhra Pradesh in a way that benefits the society.

Naidu said after praying in Tirumala to Lord Venkateswara, who took the avatar to protect righteousness in Kaliyuga, he has come to Vijayawada for the darshan of Goddess Kanaka Durga.

The TD chief said before deciding on his future course of action, he will seek blessings of Lord Narasimha Swamy at Simhachalam temple in Visakhapatnam on December 3. On December 5, he will pray at Srisailam and visit the dargah.

The former chief minister underlined that when he had been facing a tough time, not only people of Andhra Pradesh but across the world responded and fought for the truth. He said several people have prayed for him and many are still praying as per their beliefs. He asserted that with the blessings of all Gods, truth is now winning.

Naidu said Telugu people have established their identity across the world. But right now, the five-crore people in Andhra Pradesh are facing severe troubles.

He maintained that his goal is to see Telugu people reaching top levels in the world, for which he has worked for the past 45 years. He promised to work towards the same goal despite facing opposition from evil forces, which he will continue to fight and counter.
