AP government giving equal importance to welfare, development: Minister

KAKINADA: Home Minister Taneti Vanitha maintained that the state government headed by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is giving equal importance to both welfare and development.

Inaugurating development works costing ₹1.80 crores at Kovvur municipality on Sunday, she said, in all, development works have been taken up in Kovvur at a cost of ₹3 crores. Another ₹55 lakh worth of works are under completion, she stated.

The minister underlined that infrastructure facilities have been taken up in the Indiramma Housing Colony. House pattas have already been given to beneficiaries of the colony after the CM took the initiative.

Kovvur municipal chairperson Bhavana Ratnakumari and former MLC Siva Ramakrishna were among those present.
