Keerthy Suresh is definitely a force to reckon with in South Indian cinema, with many superstars vying to act with her and some interesting projects coming her way. The actress is now set to star as the legendary actress Savitri in the upcoming biopic, that is being directed by Nag Ashwin.
“She has agreed on principle but is yet to sign on the dotted line. With multiple projects in her kitty, she needs to adjust her dates. She’s abroad for a shoot and once she returns, an official announcement will be made. The film will be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu,” shares a source.
To be titled Mahanati, the film will chronicle the life of the actress even after her days of glory on the silver screen ended. Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be playing a key role in the film, the complete cast of which is yet to be finalised.
