This park, designated as one of the ten plastic parks being established by the Union Government across the country, is being constructed on a 104-acre area in the second phase of the Export Promotion Investment Park in Ganjimutt, approximately 20 kilometers from the city of Mangaluru.

He highlighted that the park would generate direct employment opportunities for around 1,000 individuals, along with indirect employment for 10,000 people, with a significant focus on local residents.

"I intend to meet the Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers, Bhagwanth Khuba, and extend an invitation to him for laying the foundation stone of the plastic park," Nalin told reporters.

The plastic park will comprise 52 sites, with a notable 39 firms already expressing interest in establishing their units within the premises.
