This family shows how Kiki ought to be done
Bengaluru: A family in south Bengaluru took up ‘Kiki Challenge’ in the right spirit, with a message to fellow enthusiasts on how it ought to be done and how the entire concept has gone haywire.
They did it without flouting any traffic norm, nor putting the lives of other motorists in danger. The family also followed all the safety measures.
Deepali Kishore Pal, a graduate and a resident of South Bengaluru, told Deccan Chronicle, “The very concept of ‘Kiki Challenge’, which has gone viral on net and has also led to many deaths, has been misunderstood. The challenge was meant to enjoy and celebrate dance. Not to put others at risk.”
She further said, “I along with my brother and father performed the challenge. But not on busy road, highway, or a market area. We did inside the gated community where we live. First we practiced the dance moves and checked whether it’s possible to dance while walking. Then after practicing, my father sat behind the wheels but didn’t shoot the video. It was my brother who sat at the rear seat and shot the video in an isolated area and that too at a time when no one was around.”
The family said that it is common sense that one shouldn’t jeopardize others lives by performing it on a busy road or a place where there are chances of an accident.
“The challenge was taken by me and my father drove the car. We made sure no one was around when we do that. The car’s speed was at 20 kilometres an hour,” Deepali added.
As the Kiki challenge has taken the netizens by storm, many people are indulging in dangerous stunts. The Bengaluru police had recently warned motorists that if they performed
Kiki, they will be put behind bars.
