RGUKT signs MoU with ISB to improve skills of students

Kakinada: Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technology (RGUKT), Nuzvid, has signed an MoU with Indian School of Business (ISB) to improve the skills among AP students.

The vice chancellor of RGUKT said the ‘social and emotional learning programme' was an educational strategy aimed at equipping students with essential skills to thrive in both academic and professional worlds.

“This programme not only improves outcomes but also enhances students’ employability, setting them on a path to a promising future.”

ISB Dean Madan Pillutla said ISB marks a new era in education, primarily focused on students and “our mission is to empower students with the skills and knowledge essential for thriving in the modern world.”

He said ISB empowers educational journeys and RGUKT is the perfect place to shape the future, where knowledge knows no bounds.

Chancellor of RGUKT, KC Reddy, said students should work hard and use their intelligence to get jobs at global-level institutions. ISB is the best platform to make students shine globally and to have their own vision of their lives, he said.

As part of the MoU, ISB would design a programme structure that would make students and staff inculcate a growth mindset, critical thinking, effective verbal and non-verbal communication, presentation and public speaking, art of storytelling and building own personal brand, it was stated.
