Substrate India CEO Calls on CM Jagan
Vijayawada: Manpreet Khaira, CEO and founder of the US-based Substrate India Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd., met with Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office on Wednesday.
Khaira is planning to establish an AI-based instruments manufacturing unit at the APIIC SEZ in Atchutapuram, Anakapalle district, and held discussions with the Chief Minister, who assured him of full cooperation.
IT and industries minister G. Amarnath, Substrate Capital Partner Sydney Newton, the company's India director Mandeep Khaira, and senior officials were also present at the meeting. After the meeting, Manpreet Khaira said that the Chief Minister's assurances had inspired him and that they had also discussed establishing an R&D unit in Visakhapatnam to promote talent among the youth and improve basic infrastructure in the state.
